Some of the most terrifying stories could be hidden behind a glittering record. Winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after many years of hard work and an immense amount of patience. Jones was the sole child of a five-child family as well as grew up in extreme poverty. Her mother was constantly in motion, and had even lived in a basement church for some length of time. Jones, who lived a nomadic and mobile life up until she enrolled in high school, had to move to a new school every year. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones was separated from her mother in order to pursue her passion for the track and field events. Jones was part of four families during her time in high school to study in one place. Jones was also a cellist in the orchestra at school. While at school, she was awarded the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award in Iowa Track and Field. Jones became one of college's top hurdlers when she entered. She won the 100-meter obstacle at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She also was part of the team that won the 100-meter relay. Jones took home both the indoor and outdoor hurdles during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones is training since 2005 when she finished her college studies. In 2005 she won winning Torino Memorial race. Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South African. She immigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family during her late teens. Her talent was discovered in Auckland through local casting director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia in her role on the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was one of the breakout stars for this series, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC comic book character as well as the Vertigo/DC series Lucifer was her character on the hit Netflix show. Lucifer has broken the record of binge viewing and was named the top series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt will next be seen in a 6-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 was born in Cape Town South Africa. She is a highly skilled New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After a few years of working in the retail sector, she was promoted to the post of an IT consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008, she finished her acting major and pursued further training in Meisner techniques of learning. The first time she was seen in New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared on the Science-fiction drama series called This Is Not My Life which was based upon the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was depicted in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
