Yael stone, a native of New York City based Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA diploma. Yael was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the best storytellers in Australia. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in television, film and theatre. Yael is well-known as an actor in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the play was a huge success. Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery supports innovative creativity, writing and artistic endeavors through the Bushwick studio.
